Sophie’s Doing Great

Sophie is doing great! She is so freakin’ fit, she is gaining admirers everywhere she goes! Yesterday we hiked up Mt. Mansfield from the Underhill side (on the Laura Cowles trail we climbed nearly 2000′ in one .9 mile section – she was AMAZING scrambling up sheer rock face!). Being a gorgeous day, it was super crowded and she interacted so perfectly with what must have been 50 or so dogs along the 5 hour way. The only place she had to be on leash was at the top as mandated. She is quite the girl and, as you know, I adore her!! Thought you’d like this pic. Be well and enjoy this unusual autumn.
